GARDEN PEA SALAD

This seasonal salad is simple to prepare for any summer, spring or Easter menu. It is a relatively quick dish made with bacon, cheddar cheese, red onions, and a dressing

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of cooked bacon

  • 4 cans of Tante's garden peas

  • 1/2cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/3 cup diced onion

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise (Dressing)

  • 1/2 cup sour cream (Dressing)

  • 1 tablespoon sugar (Dressing)

  • 2 teaspoon vinegar (Dressing)

  • Salt and pepper (Dressing)

Method

Step 1

Combine all dressing ingredients in a large bowl and whisk.

Step 2

Add Tante's garden peas, bacon, onions, cheese to the bowl and stir gently.

Step 3

Refrigerate at least two hours before serving.
