Chocolate glaze is suitable for a wide range of desserts. It is the perfect addition to brownies, cakes, slices of pound cake, plain butter cookies, bars, and doughnuts.
6 tablespoons Tante's extra dark chocolate
5 tablespoons butter
1 cup sugar
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons hot water
Melt Tante's extra dark chocolate bars and butter together in a small saucepan over low heat, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
Stir in sugar and vanilla extract.
Stir in hot water, 1 teaspoon at a time, until glaze is thick and smooth.
